~Brittni HendersonScreen shot 2014-01-28 at 2.04.07 PM will always be a University of Rhode Island Ram at heart. If it weren’t for her time spent in journalism class with two of of best friends, Erika and Jenna, TwentyTweets wouldn’t be here today. Although she now works on the blog without her two besties, she will always have Erika’s organizational skills and Jenna’s keen sense of fashion screaming to her through the computer screen. Brittni is also a Starbucks addict, puppy worshipper, beer enthusiast, Boston Bruins groupie, and lover of positivity. She’s the Social Media Coordinator for Your Smithfield Magazine, where she also authors one story a month. You can find an issue of this print-only magazine anywhere around the town of Smithfield, Rhode Island. If you’re lucky enough to live in town–like Brittni, where she still lives with her parents, younger brother when he’s home from American International College, and her other smaller and furrier brother, Brady (a Jack Russell Terrier)– a copy of the magazine is delivered free-of-charge to your mail box once a month.

Print journalism will always be Brittni’s favorite–but she knows how important digital media is to the ever-growing media world. Brittni’s expertise doesn’t stop here–she also works seasonally for the RI Department of Environmental Management, Division of Parks and Recreation, where she is either employed as a Park Ranger or Recreation Saftey Inspector (depending on the time of year). If you think that’s it for Brittni, you’re unfortunately mistaken. She also works as a Supervisor the Ryan Center Box Office at her alma mater and most recently she picked up a part-time position at the Bare Minerals counter in the cosmetics department at her local Macy’s.

Screen shot 2014-01-30 at 1.11.29 PMAs you can tell, Brittni never likes to be bored. If there is a lull in her life, she quickly fills it with something that she loves or something that will challenge her to learn something new. If you’re anything like Brittni, you know that the thrill and excitement of new things is what makes life great. Don’t worry–she also has a very prosperous social life. With the help of her best friends and loving boyfriend John, Brittni lives a wicked awesome life. It may not be your cookie-cutter style of “post-grad” living, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

If you want to learn more about Brittni or any of her endeavors, do not hesitate to contact her at twentytweets@gmail.com. Don’t forget to join in with the hundreds of her other followers on both Instagram and Twitter@BHendeReaow. You won’t regret it!
