Hautelook…Hot Deals!

Here on TwentyTweets, all of us twenty-somethings love a good deal when it comes to saving money. Hautelook is a website that has flash sales on higher-end clothing, beauty, and home décor, ranging from Michael Kors to Orly nail polish. And it’s not just for women — there are also sections for kids and men!

How does Hautelook work? They feature new sales every day, and it usually lasts for three days (so act fast!) There are several different designers or companies on the site each day beginning at 11:00 a.m. for those of us on the East coast due to the time difference with West coast, with their sales starting at 8:00 a.m. If you’re interested in trying Hautelook, sign up online or download their free app for the iPhone. It only takes about a minute!

Once you sign up and start purchasing items, they send you other shopping steals like coupons for free shipping or $15 off a purchase. Friends with other shopaholics? Invite them to join and after his or her first purchase, you’re credited $10 to spend on the site.  Want even bigger savings? Check out Hautelook on Sunday nights for their “Sunday Blowout.”  During this weekly sale, you can score some of the “leftover” designer items from the previous week at an even bigger discounted price.

Nordstrom acquired the site in 2011, and since then, I’ve seen a lot of advertisements for Hautelook online and on television.  This site is a great way to get up to 75% off your favorite brands. I know from experience — I’ve already ordered from the site twice, and shipping takes about 10 days. I definitely recommend checking this site out! I always have my eye on more expensive makeup brands or clothing items, but as a college student, I just can’t justify the purchases right now. This website is just the excuse I needed! 😉

Have you gotten a great deal on Hautelook?  We want to hear about it!  Let us know @20sTweet!
