You Can’t be “Best Dressed” Without These Essentials

Memorial Day Weekend! It’s (unofficially) Summer 2012!

This means it’s time to take out all of your favorite summer essentials.  In case you have no idea what I’m talking about when I say “summer essentials,” I’ll break it down for you.

  • Gap Perfect Khaki Pants $54.95

White Pants My all-time favorite summer style.  White pants are effortless chic and should be a staple in everyone’s wardrobe.  Whether they’re trouser jeans or skinny jeans white pants are great for both day and evening looks.

  • Wedges Summer is all about breezy styles and wedges can bring any look together.  One shoe that can look great with shorts, skirts, jeans and dresses?  Talk about a versatile shoe!
  • Forever 21 3/4 Sleeve Single Breasted Blazer $32.80

Colorful Blazers Summer nights can get a little chilly so it’s necessary to have a little something to not only keep you warm but also add a little something to your (already adorable) ensemble.

  • Oversized Bags Pack up your life in one of these totes and you’ll be good to go for the rest of the day (or week…)
  • Moisturizer with SPF
  • Lip Balm with SPF
  • Sunglasses This should be a no-brainer!
  • Sundresses ..and lots of ‘em! Whether it be for a day of shopping or an evening date, a cute sundress is always my go-to look.
  • Old Navy Perfect Khaki Shorts $19.94

Colorful Shorts Denim is classic and always in style, but why not play with a little color instead?  Some of my favorites are bright green, coral, and lilac.

Since it’s Memorial Day weekend, lots of stores are having some fabulous sales.  For example, Old Navy shorts are only $15, and nearly all full-priced items are the Gap are 40% off!  So take a break from all your drinking and hit the mall to score some great summer clothes for ridiculously low prices.  Happy Shopping Memorial Day!
