Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: Bare Escentuals Makeup

Jenna, Brittni, my roommate, Becca, and I had the fabulous opportunity to participate in a Girlfriend Party at the Bare Escentuals store in Providence, RI, last night. You may remember me talking about this experience before in Mastering the Art of Bare Escentuals. The best part for me? Every party is different. Different freebies, different makeup artists, and an overall different vibe to the entire night. And it was SO much fun — again!

So what did we learn? Well, a whole lot of things. Each one of us received personalized attention to perfect our smokey eyes, individual lip color, and more. Our B.E. expert helped all of us find that “happy medium” between not enough makeup and too much. We were a little daring, and if I do say so myself, we walked out beautiful!

The biggest change for all of us? I think it was using blush. Sure, we all love bronzers and the bareMinerals Warmth All Over, but none of us had really experimented with different shades of blush before. When matched to your skintone, we discovered that blush is an awesome product for highlighting your best features!

Of course, we also walked away with some brand new products. We fell in love with the Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss. Brittni tried a fresh, coral color called Party Starter, Jenna found a baby pink gloss called Show Off, and Becca and I both loved the nude, gold shade called Trail Blazer. These Moxie glosses were sheer, vibrant, NOT sticky, and have just the right amount of plumper to give that tingling, fresh feeling. The natural ingredients, oils, and extracts in the gloss also hydrate your lips while you’re wearing it. A new TwentyTweets favorite for sure!

Have we convinced you to start wearing Bare Escentuals makeup yet? If you’re new to this brand, remember one thing: You’re not alone. If you’re feeling hesitant or unsure, the ladies in the store will be more than happy to help you. Any product, any feature, just ask!
