A Simple, Bubbly, Holiday Drink

Let me begin by saying, I love champagne and sparking wine. I don’t believe in waiting for a special occasion to pop open a bottle of bubbly, and I’d rather be in the perfect company of those who won’t think I’m crazy for pre-gaming with a bottle of it. So last weekend, I was at Foxwoods Casino to celebrate my sister’s birthday. In the midst of watching my fellow partiers guzzle “Shock Tops” and Jack & Cokes, I found this little gem: Pomegranate Prosecco. Absolutely delicious.

The perfect drink for me, and super easy to make on your own! There are a couple of different ways that you can make this cocktail; here’s the recipe that I used and probably one of the easiest:

1. Add up to a dozen fresh pomegranate seeds to the bottom of your champagne flute.

2. Fill the flute with chilled Prosecco (a sparkling white wine).

3. Add a sprig of Rosemary for show.

Voilà. Pomegranate Prosecco is a perfect drink to impress your friends, share some bubbly, and kick off a great time at your next holiday party.
